HDG is pleased to announce the addition of Sarah Katz and Joy Ward to its team; both recently joined the firm as Project Managers in the firm’s Consulting Practice.

Sarah has several years of experience in health care consulting on both the acute and post-acute care sides of the industry. She has previously been involved in project leadership, client relationship management and independently identifying and executing against business development opportunities. Most recently, she served as a Consultant and Director of the Health Care Industry Committee for The Advisory Board Group in Washington, D.C. Prior to that she held the roles of Senior Analyst, Analyst, and Senior Research Associate for The Advisory Board Group. Sarah has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and is a graduate of the Barnard College of Columbia University in New York, NY. She currently resides in Washington, D.C.

Joy has several years of operational experience in acute and skilled care settings. Before joining HDG, she was the Regional Director of Operations for JB HealthCare, LLC where she was responsible for the overall operations and start up of new management facilities that required crisis intervention, turnaround, and systems implementation. Prior to that, she was the Corporate Director of Operations for Lancaster Health Group and the Regional Director of Clinical Services for Pathway Health Services. Joy has a MBA from Aurora University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Iowa. She is a Registered Nurse and a licensed Nursing Home Administrator.
